OUR HISTORY
Started in 2002 by an elementary schoolteacher and her husband from their home in Darien, CT, My Tutor and Me was one of the first companies in lower Fairfield County to provide in-home, one-on-one tutoring support. Created with elementary school students in mind, we soon expanded our services to include academic tutoring for high school students as well as instruction for a range of standardized tests.
We believe instruction is only as effective as the study habits of the student. That is why we place an emphasis on not just highly-qualified tutors and clear instruction but also working with students to follow detailed study plans outside the tutoring sessions. With this philosophy we have helped thousands of students achieve their academic and admissions goals. Today, not only do we tutor students in Fairfield county but also in our office in Darien and throughout the world online.
