We Help Students Improve Grades With Acceptance to Top Schools in Mind
We believe the best way to learn difficult material is by working with talented communicators who are experts in the content they teach. Most importantly, we aim to keep learning simple by offering lessons with clear explanations and targeted reinforcement that truly improves skills.
“Practice makes perfect” is our main advice to students. We regularly push the students who work with us to practice regularly as we have found good instruction alone is not enough to substantially increase scores. After each lesson we provide practice exercises that home in on student weak areas and detailed study recommendations to make studying independently as easy as possible.
Below is a list of the main subjects that our instructors support. Requests for work outside these fields can be handled as well. All our work with students is one-on-one and tailored to the needs of the individual student.
Math
Our instructors support students in all levels of math from pre-algebra to AP Calculus to higher level college math, and are experienced with honors-level math tracks at competitive high schools
Chemistry
We support high school students in honors and AP Chemistry as well as college students in Organic and Biochemistry. Whether your goal is medicine or engineering, chemistry knowhow is essential
Physics
Our physics instructors are PhD educated. We work with students in high school honors and AP Physics as well as college physics including algebra-based AP Physics 1/2 and calculus AP Physics C
Languages
From ancient to modern languages, our online tutors are native Spanish and French speakers as well as hold PhDs in Latin and Ancient Greek. German and other language tutors are available as well
Economics
From AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics to intermediate college economics, our experienced instructors help students improve grades to prep for careers in economics, finance and business
Statistics
Our instructors work with students from high school AP Statistics to college econometrics and med school biostatistics. Statistics is central to both hard and social science alike and is useful in any career
Biology
From AP Biology and AP Environmental Science to college level genetics, ecology and molecular biology, we support students in their path to careers in healthcare, research and conservation
Literacy
Our literacy teachers are trained in the Orton-Gillingham, PAF and Lindamood Bell methodologies as well as the Wilson Reading System and have years experience helping students learn to read
Elementary and Middle School
We support younger children in all classroom subjects with the aim to build foundations for success in high school and college. Highly qualified special education tutors are also available
