    Dr. McKim holds a PhD in Classics from Princeton University and is a former junior fellow at the Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington. Dr. McKim is also a former assistant professor at the University of Texas at Austin where he taught college and graduate courses in literature, languages and ancient philosophy. As a published author and frequent speaker, including at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center, Dr. McKim lectures on literature, film and student learning in the liberal arts, including the college essay and has 20 years of experience as a college essay coach. In this workshop for rising high school seniors, Dr. McKim outlines how to approach the personal and supplemental essays on college applications.
